A lover of purpose
Your wedding is my top priority and isn't it fun when you feel like you know someone although you haven't even met them yet?!
Everything I do must have purpose. Whether that means something huge like investing in education to further my business or grabbing dinner with a friend. Both of these help my business and future tremendously! Self care and investing within Hannah Marie Events are so important.
Challenges motivate me. When I was in school, I loved seeing a full schedule of class, work, meetings and dinners with friends. A full schedule versus a relaxed schedule actually helps motivate me even more to complete the busy tasks of the day. Don't get me wrong though, I LOVE days of doing absolutely nothing too!! There's something about going non-stop for a few days and then vegging out on the couch that gives me so much joy!
I love sweets. Seriously, sugar is one of my love languages. My fiancé gave me a bag of Peppermint Patties when he asked me to be his girlfriend almost 10 years ago and he still gives a bag of them to me at least once a year, it's like Christmas morning! One of my favorite places to go for a night out with family, friends, or my fiancé is a place called Shyndigz in my hometown of Richmond, VA. If you like cookies, cake, cobbler, pie, or any type of dessert you can imagine, you HAVE to come to Richmond and grab a slice of pie with me!
I love to travel. Exploring different places and learning about their history and all of the fun things you can do at a place excites me! Whether it's staying in the U.S. and exploring new states and cities or dreaming up the next country I'll visit, it all makes me so excited! I've only been out of the country twice. Once was to St. Lucia with my family which was absolutely beautiful and the other was to Punta Cana with my family! It was so fun! States I've visited include, New York, New Jersey, Georgia, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Florida, Missouri, and West Virginia! Having destination weddings is a big goal for me in 2023!
I love my family. I also love building relationships with people and becoming like family! If we meet and get to know each other, in no time, you'll be considered family in my book . Having "my people" is what keeps me pushing towards my dreams.
